There are 3 tabs holding on the toyota badge to the grille itself. You push them towards the centre of the emblem. I find it easiest to squeeze the ii on the sides towards each other, then the elevation clip just push down. If you take of your grille completely (just two bolts and clips at the tiptop of the grille), yous can see how to pop off the keepsake from the back.
The pic beneath shows the 3 mounting points where the little tabs are.

3. Notice a company that will do a vinyl rap for information technology.
4. Record around it, and pigment it with the high-temp grill paint. Y'all can get it at Wal-mart or whatsoever of the big box hardware store.

Yeah I used a rut gun and dental floss, the stickers peeled off in pieces and I used WB -twoscore ,and goo gone with just my finger no cloth was used, information technology took most four attempts before information technology was all gone , sticker glue was the problem not the emblem record

Yous should be able to reach behind there and popular out the little prongs and it pushes right out. I blacked out mine. First with matte spray paint but it chop-chop was chipping. So I used plasti dip and it's held up great for virtually 8 years at present.

Chrome won't become y'all abode, but black will become you back. Not a fan of chrome, or plasti-dip. Durability of the finish is always a concern.

I highly recommend going with Plastidip. I blacked out my badge with paint, and inside vi months information technology had stone fries in it. Plastidip won't requite you shine (if that'south what you want), but it'south very durable, and then it will not get stone chips in it.
